My wife and I will hunt together and then stop by a friends who used to own and work in restaurants to pick up our 4 person meal with all the trimmings and a whole pie for 60 bucks. I don't have to fry the turkey this year and cook half the meal. It is worth it to me. The boy is off to friends this weekend. Let the good times roll.
The lady that is cooking for us and a lot of other folks needs the extra money. She had to take custody of two young grand children and raise them. I always donate one deer to her and extra veggies from the garden. It keeps me in homemade pies. LOL
