The Keith is top drawer for cast, with that flat frontal area punching a hole in front of it, it penetrates deep and straight. I think it also affords more energy transfer. Just like Gary's flat tip .22 FR tool enhances .22 RF performance.

The SWC is never a wrong choice unless some odd feeding issue crops up. Then I'd try the TC. The TC bullet too seems to penetrate very deep. Doug shot clean through a Nilgai at TN with a .38 Special, chest through backbone (right through the bone too!) loaded with a LEE 124 gr. TC 9mm bullet at 900 fps. Coated with smoky liquid Alox no less. It fell downhill with it's belly exposed, still thrashing a bit, he nailed it right between it's front legs for a heart shot. I almost fell over. Doug tried to pass off that he killed it solely with the 5" Victory .38 S&W for a moment. But I had heard the boom of his .338 GNR a minute or three previous. He's not THAT good. lol
