Trying to help out fellow Misfit Brent with his project. He traded for an ancient custom Mauser built into a .219 Donaldson Wasp. Go ask for that at the local Gun shop! Lol. It was a fun challenge but I think I have some mock ups that will chamber and dies modified (.22-250 shortened) that would load his formed cases. A shame we live so far apart. Just think of the mischief.

Interestingly I mainly used the .30 Herrett die to begin, pushing the shoulder back to where I wanted it, then necked to .25, .24, and finally .22. I did finish off with a touch of .25-35 WCF taper to make sure it will chamber. Hopefully! These are mock ups for mailing, I touched them off with some sexy Calhoun 30 gr. DHP’s, man would those scream.

Any idea who did the conversion? Some of the Mausers for Rimmed Cartridges are neat. I've seen them converted to 30-40, 303 British, 45-70, etc. The Siamese 8mm Mausers were converted to all sorts of neat calibers.

Some 219 DW Chambers required neck turning. Hopefully you and Brent can keep us posted.

C. O. Audette did the conversion

American Rifleman`s magazines with a bunch of liner notes he wrote in them and figured they would be better served in the NRA`s archives so I paid the shipping and sent them to the NRA but never got a thank you... Oh well...

You’ll garner a crown for the effort

No double the socialists will properly dispose of the radical propaganda after the drive the steak through the heart of the NRA and dilute the 2nd Amendment. I love the old stuff you collect. Write more!

No better way to spend some time and thought than to play wi
