Just an abbreviated shooting session today. More to follow...

Used various 165-180 grn ammo. The 165 grn ranged 1200-1350+ fps. Groups were a snug 1" at 35 yards and 1.25-1.3" at 50 yards.

The 180 grn ranged from 1080-1150 fps. Groups at 35 yards were 1.25-1.5". Interestingly enough, they didn't open up at 50 yards. The worst group was 1.75".

Two failure to feeds. Both with S&B 180 grn TC ammo. This ammo had very sharp angles on the bullets. The RNFP ran like a champ.

Muzzle energy ran from 550-700+ fp. Not exactly surprising, but ballistics about like a good 10mm Longslide.

My handloads with cast bullets and Longshot Powder usually best factory stuff by 100+ fps. Believe that will be the case here as well.

Recoil was practically nothing. The gun is for all purposes a 10/22 with more thump.

Hope to get the PC Carbine 9mm going next week and compare the two. Around a place I believe these will be superior to an AR or Mini-14. At ranges under 100 yards, they hit with a thump. Over 100 yards, the rifle cartridges get my vote.

One rare occurrence (for me) on this gun..

First shot landed 1/2" from the bullseye after mounting the scope. I never made an adjustment to the scope during testing.
