You'd not shed tears if you dropped it in the woods. I was looking at a genuine Bisley 1873 Colt in .32 WCF. As you said about the same price as a 1 oz. Double Eagle coin! It was slick as a whistle but re-blued at some point, a shooter.
Man I'd worry about it if I went that far. I'm about as happy with more simple, less expensive, toys. I may still do it one day. Get me a real SAA Colt.
