posts but felt I needed to post this one. Don't read it if you get in a bad mood easily. It is the musings of an old man who sees some dark clouds on the horizon.

not at all what we want to do, but, will do it if necessary. Freedom is worth making the ultimate sacrifice so our family members can have the same opportunities we had. I don't know where the military will stand if it comes to that. I believe, and my own belief, they would be hard pressed not to join in to exercise their right to believe in God, the Constitution, and stand up against tyranny. We the People is powerful in itself, and is the lifeblood of this country. This preamble will be the battle cry. So few who want supreme power and control cannot not impose their will on the masses unless we allow them. It looks like we will have some decisions to make in the future that may be unpleasant. God bless you all.
I have to agree Andy. Sometimes it's the only way...

But, people are hard to predict. Usually the biggest talkers do the least and it pays to watch the quiet ones.
The big cities will likely be the places to watch, just as they have been during civil unrest over politics. But, I still believe this is staged and/or funded. If the $#*+ hits the fan, those rioters will head for the hills.
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst is still the best advice I've ever gotten.
I see it as factual. Unlike numerous

Negative posts based on biased opinion, not facts.
Gary, I believe that this is the musings of a wise man.

I understand Gary's view about negative posts and agree. Negativism can lead people into wrong thinking, especially if we start building imaginary responses to imaginary actions. Wrong thinking eventually leads to wrong acting.
It's not wrong to look at the future and make some plans. The ancient Scripture commend that. "A shrewd person sees danger and hides himself, but the naive keep right on going and suffer for it." (Proverbs 22:3) But it can be very non-productive to make responses based on fear.
Wisdom is what is needed, and that comes as a free gift from the Lord. In His time on earth He warned His followers about things that were coming. At one point He told them they would see the time when Jerusalem was surrounded by enemy forces intent on killing them. He gave some instructions ... "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her destruction is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city.... " (Luke 21)
If the city is surrounded, how do you get out? Trusting the Lord is the answer.
When the followers of Jesus saw Vespasian was approaching with his army they acted on what Jesus had said and they all fled Jerusalem. Four years later Titus brought the Roman armies against Jerusalem again and this time destroyed it.
We need His wisdom to act wisely.
He has it for us if we will only ask for it.

thing the main thing and that is Jesus Christ is Lord.
Always some one who thinks that they know better how you should live and wants to be in control.
Agreed as I've posted before (my belief)...

Is prayer should enjoy a great deal of listening. Also, praying is good, but sometimes getting off your @$$ and doing something to help yourself helps.
So much of the "negative" is about making money. Has been fortunes made off selling ammo and components, face masks, social media (since it's unsafe to go around others) etc.
Now, the trend is leading us to believe if we give our preparation stuff away, we'll be safe. Clearly, the fine people of the world won't steal from you if share with the slackers who haven't got oil for their lamps.
It's just my belief that God is the constant in a world of manipulation. Getting off my soapbox now...

How interesting that we are in the third day of Hannukah, celebrating Judah Maccabee cleansing the Temple after defeating Antiochus Eppifanes, the successor to Alexander when he died. The first Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians, the second by Titus, who slaughtered everyone in the city and took slaves back to Rome. The visual is on the Arch of Titus, depicting the slaves and the Giant Gold Temple Candelabra. Four years later Bar Kochba revolted, and the Romans returned and were fought to the end at Masada, where the revolutionists committed suicide rather than be taken as slaves. The Crusaders came and then tMuhammed, and then the Turks. The Hebrew people are still in Israel and in Jerusalem as free men. It had to be fought for when it was necessary to fight, but it was never given up. Our freedom here was hard won and should never be given up to an ideology that defies our belief in G-d and his commandments.
