.45 Win. Mag is about 1.19” case. My gun would accept a case 1.315”. The moon clips stick out 0.050”. The .45 ACP base fell 0.368” in the cylinder, the case is around 0.896” long. The 230 gr. RN did not stick out the end either. It looks like a go! I’m in.

It all boils down to “are the rims the same”. I thought they are. If not they could rub the recoil shield an not work in the clips. That’s the last denominator.
