Machete Saves The Shopper
My friend ..call him "Sam" .. night before last couldn't sleep. About 11PM he told his wife he was going to the store and pick up the groceries they needed. So he went shopping, bought what was needed, and was in the parking lot loading his car when he heard a car pull up behind him.
Loud rap music and the car pulling close alerted him so he was facing them before they stopped. Two guys got out and started for him. As they did he pulled out a 20-some inch machete and grinned at them.
They immediately turned around, got back in their car and drove off.
"Sam" is 70 years old .. small in stature .. but hard as nails. A retired cop who spent most of his career in gang work, he ain't nobody to fool with. Those guys made a wise decision.
He said he had his Glock on his hip but the machete was close and has a real visual effect on people.
Oh .. "Sam" teaches blade self defense classes in his spare time.
