75% of them different models of 9mm guns. A few 380s in the mix too. Really a huge selection of defense guns right now considering the circumstances.
Unfortunately, ammo here is about impossible. Not even enough to sell with the purchase of a gun in certain calibers.
It's really a sad situation for new gun owners and not great for existing gun owners.
Our Walmart isn't any better. Usually a good selection of ammo. Today, a lonely 3 boxes of 270 WSM ammo to be had.
I visited the lLGS here yesterday.

Lots of ammo, lots of guns, lots of high prices, lots of people buying.
Ammo is terrible here. Never seen anything like it...

I've seen rimfire shortages and sometimes on AR Ammo or such. But, I've never seen it where nothing was to be had.
All I really saw today was 12 gauge #8 Shot. Maybe five boxes if it.
Was in Walmart ... 12 long guns .. no rifle or handgun ammo

It’s the same alloys they use, and no 2 month wait to ship. They don’t have to cast bullets, so they just send the bars. I get 30 or 40 lbs a month. Up until this month, it only took 4 days to arrive. This month it took 8 days...the mail lady hates me.
I've got enough lead to sink a battleship...

Just don't cast. I'm pretty good on most bullets for a few days. Will likely order more GT 41 Magnum bullets and surrender.
Battleship, lead...South LA, Huey,...BALLAST LEAD!

Melted it down and made ingots. For some reason it fascinated him.
One of these days you will cast a bullet, then it's ON!

must have been two dozen. Not sure of the models. Two stores I visited had thinning but moderate supplies of firearms. Lots of hunting rifles, less handguns. Pretty good supply of ammo. I bought a couple pounds of powder, put if in my wish list for Christmas at home (hint hint). Two places got powder in. Only a few cartons of primers I saw.
One dealer has an entire pallet of 9mm FMJ ($39.99) no limit, ditto 5.56 (forget the price). Yes a literal 4X4' pallet chin high.
there is a lot of "under the table" dealing going on

these days. Our distributors get the ammo and guns in and are supposed to allocate them to their sales people. But from what I am reading in one of the dealer magazines has reported that some stores are passing some $$ around to get the distributors to send all the available ammo and guns to them. A lot of gun shops are complaining about it when one shop gets 2 guns and 1 case of ammo and the shop down the street gets 25 guns and 10 cases of ammo. And most of these shops are jacking the prices way up. Our 9mm is still $18.95 to $24.95 according to the brand and amount in the box. The "norm" seems to be around $1 a round for handgun ammo in most cases. It is a shame but money talks.
I can show you on Gunbroker (who only connects buyers)

Only one store in my town has plenty of ammo...but be prepared to sell your first born child to get it....the other guys are scraping by and keeping semi normal prices.
I had to go to Wilmington for a VA appt Friday and stopped by sportsmans world....they are stocked to the gills on everything but powder and primers. They have alternate powders a guy could use though. I was suprised
we got several Glocks in over the last few days plus a few

Smiths and a Sig but nothing spectacular. Couple of cases of ammo came in. It will all be gone by noon tomorrow. And next week we will be begging for ammo again. What has helped us a lot is several of the Misfits on here have either sold or traded for custom work a lot of their excess ammo, bullets and primers.
I actually bought a box of Blazer Brass 9mm Wesnesday

in Indiana at a gun shop. $21.32 with tax. I was shocked to see it. I believe they had 45 acp also, but I only buy factory 45 ammo if I'm low on brass so didn't check on price.
