I ordered 32 Magnum Brass Thursday and it was sitting on my porch today. That was after an email warning me of delays due to increased orders.
Yep , they don’t mess around, they had some

No telling when I'll see that. I'd bought 250 in the original order. I did snag 300 Starline Nickel Plated 44-40 from Graf's.
So, while not hurting, I'd feel better with a few more. Nobody to blame but myself.
I am still a bit ticked off at them. I know Bobby and his

Mother well and have always had a good working relationship with them. I have ordered probably a quarter million rounds of brass from them. But a while back I got a large box of 500 Special and 44 Special brass and both had big problems. On a Dillon press when you ran the die in to drop the powder and flare the mouth it took both hands standing up to get the die out of the case. I called them and got a brush off from one of their techs, I told them I had been using both sets of dies for years and they both worked with other brass. But the tech didn't have time to listen to me and brushed me off. I may well not order any brass from Starline again.
I love their 38-40 and 44-40 brass, but understand...

I tried the 44-40 years ago with Remington and Winchester Brass. The loading gate would crush the cases when loading the gun. Reloading the brass was even less fun.
When I've had this problem, it was caused by a slight burr

When I had this problem with several batches of Starline cases, it was caused by a slight burr on the inside of the case mouth. The burr seems to grab the expander and doesn't let go. I solved the problem by sizing the case and then lightly deburring the inside of the case mouth to remove the offending burr. Once that was done the problem went away.
