I put one on an xp-100 in .221 fireball back in the mid 80's for prairie dog shootin'.
It is THE hardest pistol scope out there to use. Eye relief is super critical; with less than 2" of sweet spot for full view. At the same time, I had a super 14 Contender in .223 that I put a 7x Burris on; a much easier scope to use.
Even the 3-9x Burris and the newer 3-12x Burris scopes are easier to shoot than the old 10x.
