I think it was Bowen who floated the idea how wonderful the smaller bores were. The mindset is that they are small enough not to be serious medium-game (Whitetail) hunting arms and better suited for sheer pleasure in shooting. This was in reference to his enjoyment with the .25-20 and .32-20 sixguns.
I must concur. I add my .255 Banshee to that mix. It's for all purposes a more efficient .25-20 on the Hornet case. I was really surprised with the .240 Banshee too and have not read where anyone has ventured off much into a 6mm revolver play. That alone makes me want to go for it. So many ideas and wants, so little resources and now time!
