Nancy's rifle is a tang saftey Mdl77. When she got it off of Gunbroker it went to Flagstaff. Gary put on one of his muzzel brakes, they flat work and look great, cut the stock to fit,added a recoil pad and slicked up the trigger. When we got back from Africa he did one of his Black Chromex jobs on it.
The scope is a Ziess Conquest V6 3-18x50 with a
Kenton Industries elevation turret that lets her hold dead on to 800 yds. This is her longest shot on game to date but she hits the 800 yd gong all day long.
She shoots handloads with Nosler 180 gr Accubonds over RE22.
The area we live and hunt in, the Mogollon Rim in AZ, is big country with lots of canyons. Her last two bull elk have been at 30 and 500 yds, she is ready for anything. I am blessed to have her as my outdoor buddy for the last 38 yrs.
