I've always heard the Python's had a pretty fragile lockwork and I don't know how much difference there is in pressure between a 10mm and .357 but my guess is there is not enough metal in the cylinder left after its bored to .40 or .41 to have a strong magnum level gun. I always wanted a SP 101 in 10mm but I just don't think it would work. I have a Charter Arms Boomer in .44 special that has paper thin cylinder walls but your not dealing with much pressure in standard .44 special loads.
