Alcorn you are alright in my book. I thank you for the 7mmIR sizer-form die, it came today. I also sent you a box as I promised that should arrive via UPS tomorrow. There are at least, I think, (3) reloads in there of mine. I love you and would never let anything hurt you. The recipe is on the box. My home cast 200 gr. FNGC in .356 Win. brass.

I have a wonderful barrel from Huey in .358 caliber. It was done by Mike Bellm, the chambering. He made this round that is basically a full length .444 run up in a .358 Winchester die. It makes a UGLY round sort of like a huge squat .30-40 KRAG. I have never met Bellm, but I kind of like that moxy. Just throwing it out like it runs, no matter what it looks like, no trimming, just run it. lol

I could not stand it and had a .356 Win. Pistol anyway. So I cut the necks in half on the Bellm .444/.35's and golly it becomes a .356 Win. instantly. The Bellm chamber (a redone .35 Rem.) handles both short and long versions. It is a good round the pseudo .356 but it does not need to be loaded full power .358 Win. level. Recoil is pretty peppy done hot anyway. It will shoot the 200 gr. at around 2300 fps done right. The RPM-XL is now owned by Alcorn. Super accurate but you have to back off on the target trigger and have your ammo done exactly to specs. It was a good gun though. I think the .35 single shot pistol at this level would be a dandy Black Bear round. (Doug is looking around at US hunts) Puffy liked the .350 GNR and I always wanted to try one, I thought it a fantastic idea and it has to be good. Less pressure than the .356 or .35 on the .444 (I think JD did one too) with less bolt thrust on the action with the smaller head but longer .405 Win. brass.

I'm continually going back to the TC, specifically the G2. It's close to perfection for my dingle shot handgunning needs. Although I have a whole bunch of Encore stuff too. No flies on it either. When you REALLY need to blast something!
