it's not the fastest but hits the hardest. Locally I only found Winchester 30 gr. HP for $20 a box. They are rated at 2250 fps. The gun seemed to shoot them ok. I'd still like to compare the accuracy to 45 gr. ammo in the Micro-groove barrel.
