A 6" .45 Colt stainless. I was so happy awaiting for it to arrive. The day came and it was badly out of time from the factory. I mean it would not fire with normal indexing. What the heck?! I sent it back and they fixed it but I was so upset I sold it (for a profit).
All that holds the cylinder in the window is a floppy crane and ONE bolt at the back of the cylinder/recoil shield. It is large (about 1/4") but that's it. The pressure of the hand and the indexing bolt are the only other parts in play.
A S&W locks front and back, RH too. The Redhawk is in a class by itself as to cylinder locking. Ditto the old Dan Wessons. The latter might be a very favorable alternative but be braced for the price!
