When I gave Gary (at one of the HHC) this Ruger, it really needed some good gunsmith work.... His boys worked their magic by trueing up the undersized 45 Colt cylinder, did one of the nicest single action jobs I`ve handled, throat the barrel, added the barrel band and ramp to take FA`s sight blades, satin finish and probably a few more things I forgot... Since this photo was taken I`ve added a Millett W/O rear sight that almost makes it easy for a offhand shot on game out to 50... A handload using my reserve of 260gr Partition bullets and 296 are all I use.. She`s a real shooter thanks to the Pistol Parlor...

and quite a looker too

Bullets are a hammer. I have a good stash of them for my 45 win mag.
