Longer sight radius unless going with optics, and extra slide length and weight to better tame recoil. My vote is for the longslide.

the 150-165gr is about 60-70 fps .Different powders make a difference also. You always get a better powder burn with heavier for caliber bullets.

as to how good for pigs. The shot placement can be critical,,, depending upon if you want to see DRT or not. I am try to get to test the GDHP in the 165gr? waiting on them. I also would like to see how the new Swift will perform. A question is velocity with the 10mm and the Aframe.
Getting back to subject Keep it under 50yds 40 might be better.
I shoot behind ear 90% and if the pig faces me then it’s right between the shoulders. Those bullets that look like a phillips screw driver are junk. steer clear. XTPs come apart. Hope to also be trying some GT HPs soon.
Winchester’s black talons work. You need to be accurate to drop them.
If you have to aim for the shoulder you will live with how that animal reacts to your placement meaning some run a long ways,,,,, and do not expect to see a very long blood trail.

When i built the first ultimate 10 longslide we shot some double tap 135 gr nosler HPs thru it and we were getting almost 1800 fps. Thats a 41 mag basically.
