Started this afternoon and we have about 4” now. Supposed to keep it up till early morning. I hop it stays long enough for the kids to enjoy it. Of course I start back to work on day shift in the morning or I would have to try to track a deer!
A little snow isn’t so fascinating to some of you, but here it is a rare treat!

excuse for a winter here. Cold (2 degrees this morning when I got up) but no snow and none in the immediate future. If we don't get some snow soon it will be a terrible forest fire season.

Both have plenty of snow and my friends 100 miles north of here say they are above normal snow level for this year. But thankfully here in the Valley we have only had one snowfall around Thanksgiving of a couple inches. We've had a little skiff of snow some mornings but it melted off quickly. We are getting plenty of moisture in the form of rain.
Only a little snow here in Randolph.

Temps are normal low teens in the AM, 30 later. 20 minutes away they have a good snow pack. Too bad the Canucks can't come skiing, eh.
our ski resort is open but it is man made snow.

I live at 8000 feet but except for 4 inches back in December, no snow at all.

got 7 or 8 inches! Heaviest snow since 1994. My grandsons - ages 5 and 7 are overjoyed! They went sledding for the first time in their lives. Stayed outside till they were frozen and cried because they wanted to stay out in it but were so cold.
52 degrees here today and very little snow
