This is one of my favorite guns. Kase and I had 2 or 3 of them. This one of Erik's is in 10mm. They also made them in 45 ACP. They were made by Peter's Stahl and imported by Springfield Armory. Mine was a 10mm while Kase's was a 45. We used them on several hunts up at Tellico Junction in Tennessee. Then I guess we got bored with them as they flew away one day to someone else's house. Another fuggup on my part. This one of Eriks is a 10mm and has the ported slide and barrel. It is finished in the deluxe Black Chromex with a set of antique ivory Corian grips. A really nice and very accurate gun and another one I need to con Erik out of. Any smears you might see are some light oil on the slide.

make some extremely fine handguns (maybe long guns too). Phillips & Rogers imported them for a while but they didn't sell well as the name was not well known and just the slide and barrel were in the $800 range, 30 years ago. They also put out some extremely well made longslide 22 LR conversion kits. Again these didn't sell well as just the conversion unit was in the $800 range and folks had never heard of them. I bought several of the 22 conversion kits and the Omegas from Roger Hunziker of P&R. I eventually sold all but the one 22 conversion kit which I put on a Charles Daly frame. The gun locks up tight as a vault and is extremely accurate.

the 10mm is a "star" and the 22 looks as tight as you said

Never got to take a look at one, much less make a pass at one. Based on the press coverage and specs, I got the idea that the Omega was the Delta Elite done right.

Enjoy!
