Update on Kate..

She is out of the ICU and has headed home. She will be on a dialysis routine 3 times a week for a couple of months until the family can start doing care at home. The hope is for her to be able to get a transplant in the next year and then lead a pretty normal life.

One of my best friends had a kidney transplant at 17. He had to get another at about 54, but has lived a full life and is 60 now. Nothing stopping him either.

Thank you all for your prayers and most importantly thank God for making her recovery possible. Its a tremendous testament to the power of prayer.
