It’s so long I have to extend the press window 1/2” with washers AND unscrew the die out 1/4” (using the lock ring as a positive reset stop) for each time I seat and crimp. I also have to poke the bullet up the die as there is not enough room in the window for the case and bullet to fit into the die. The reloading notes have a passing reference but I didn’t know what he meant until now.
You have to unscrew the die some to clear the seated round!

I have a .50 BMG press but need to find my 7/8” bushing and shell holder adapter.
The .450 No. 2 Nitro is BIG. 95 grs. RL15 was the recipe with a 480 gr. Woodleigh. It sounds a bit light for a load that’s only about 60-70% density before you seat a bullet. Then it feels about 80-85% guessing, Winchester green guts Magnum Large Rifle primers were used. I ran several grains over 100 with my .500 Nitro and slower burning RL22. But we’ll see. Also some big long, inside the case, cast, gas check slugs. Those Woodleighs are not for paper!
The piss ant round on the right is a .338 Win. Mag.!
