This rifle belonged to my Grandpa on my Mom's side.

I rescued it from my Uncle who had it stored on a leather case under a bed. The muzzle end of the barrel had some rust with mild pitting started, got that cleaned up and stopped and now it lives with me.

It was built in 1905 I don't know when he bought it. A 30 WCF with a 26" octagon barrel in a takedown model.

I don't shoot it near as well as Jim shoots his, but still a lot of fun.

I don't care what happens with the rest of my guns but everybody knows this one stays with the family. [image]
50 yards sitting on my butt with cross sticks. From my alloy a 183 gr. 311041 in Win. cases, WLR primers and 26 grs. of 3031.
