Like JT, I intend to spend some time this spring with several 1851s I have that are collecting dust. There is a place near here that has a decent population of rabbits. Between a 36 cal 1851 and my longbow, hope to have an afternoon two of fun. I was fortunate to have a stockpile of caps, ball and 3f powder for just that, so I can shoot and not feel like I need to conserve.
