Thnderball in 45 colt by Pietta. With the 3.5" barrel and birdshead grip. I can find nothing wrong with it, other than with the longer base pin I can't just remove the cylinder. Its just a tad too long. I just need to sit down and either shorten the stock one or find another that doesnt have that type of safety. In my shooting off hand its pretty much point of aim with a mild load of unique and a RCBS 270 SAA. I havent had time for load development for it, but it sure is handy. I will probably pick up a 7.5" model and really see how it can shoot. Compared to my Ubertis, the finish on the Uberti is a smidge nicer. I think the Uberti had a slightly better finish before bluing. But it truly is a nit pick. The case hardened frame on both looks comparable. I really like this Thunderball. I usually see the $50-100 less than the same model in the Uberti. Between the two it would come down to what you were looking for and availability, brand wouldnt sway me any more.
