Normally I don't post a "what should I by" type of post, but I'm glad I did The post from Jim and JT on reloading for the Semi Autos is good info. Also realized that I have loaded very little for Semi Auto pistols. So, I'll save those post and re-read with my 3pm cup of coffee.
Great choice

Outshot a Dan Wesson using the same loads. To prove it was no fluke another operator did the same thing.
You'll like it. I found that its not too bad to reload for.

Just seems to be a little pickier to get accurate at times. But I have had no issues finding something that works at different load levels. and I do like my cast lead bullets in it also, again just have to pay attention.
I have one too, and i like it

I’ve shot several different bullet weights, cast and jacketed with no issues. I’ve loaded light and heavy (within published data) with no issues. The reason for loading light was to try to keep the ejected brass from going either into the next county, or from going into orbit. It didn’t help, even with lightening the extractor tension. Brass still flies a long way. Not a problem at the range, but terrorizing rabbits in the field loses most cases.
I like Blue Dot for the upper end loads
Blue Dot or Longshot is all you need for it.

I have some Hp-38 and Universal.
But I got plenty of brass, primers, and 180 gr bullets on the way.
That'll keep me shooting until I find some more powder. Even if its not ideal.
Short on Powder...
