the 9.3 X 74. With factory loads it opened every time and sent the empty case back at me. On more than one occasion when Kase and I were at the range in Sarasota I left with a bloody face from the flying brass. On one occasion Kase said he could read the 9.3 X 74 headstamp on my forehead. I finally ended up dropping the load down to about halfway between the 9.3 X 74 and the 9.3 X 72. It worked then. I took several animals in Africa that summer with that handgun.
