I'm getting cataract surgery today. Hopefully won't be able to blame poor eyesight for my poor marksmanship. Wish me luck.
luck!

I was born with terrible vision (glasses since 5). I am never gonna knock 'em out of the park but I still love shooting.
My dad had cataract surgery about a year ago and he came out of it quite nicely. Chin up!
I HAD LENS IMPLANTS ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO

My wife had it done on one eye. The prep took longer than the procedure (15-20 min.). It took her a bit to get used to it, but not that bad.
One interesting thing. Sometimes in certain light I can actually see into her eyeball and get a glint of the lens! It is now perfectly square and shines in that light. She sort of looks like a robot from "Westworld"! LOL
Best surgery ever. No pain, no blood, short recovery, and

Good luck. It is very effective and although does not improve marksmanship does create a new world with enhanced sight. One lens short distance and other for distance. You will be delighted when both are done. Few days of brightness and then you will settle in. Stay safe.
I had the multi-focus lens in my right eye

I now have 20/20 in that eye. I am going to do that in my left eye the cat. it is not an issue in that eye but I won't need Rx glasses anymore. Best thing I ever did. the lens is out of pocket at $1750 and worth every penny. The surgery is covered the lens is not. Good luck Winn. You will have a sharp sight picture after this.
Good luck Winn.
