The mother of a 17-year-old girl was concerned that her daughter was having sex.

Worried the girl might become pregnant & adversely impact the family's status, she consulted the family doctor.

The doctor told her that teenagers today were very willful & any attempt to stop the girl would probably result in rebellion. He then told her to arrange for her daughter to be put on birth control & until then, talk to her & give her a box of condoms.

Later that evening, as her daughter was preparing for a date, the mother told her about the situation & handed her a box of condoms.

The girl burst out laughing & reached over to hug her mother, saying, “Oh, Mom, you don't have to worry about that … I'm dating Susan!”

when I am getting a fire going in our fireplace in the living room where the TV is, I will notice strange things. Now I am not a bigot or racist but the commercials and shows feature lesbians or faggots....er uh gay guys. The commercials show mixed race couples more and more. Some TV series are about gay guys raising kids which I really don't like. I am too old and way too set in my ways to get used to that. Before you go to thinking I am a Ku Klux Kookie member, in my younger days when I was in radio a lot of the mixed race stuff was "normal". For a short period of time I dated a black girl whose Dad was a full bird Colonel at Ft. Campbell. She was lighter skinned than Halle Berry and I remember telling my Dad she was Indian as she was about as dark as he was. His Mom was full blood Cherokee. But that went over like a turd in a punch bowl. So I am not against mixed marriages but I am just not used to seeing it so blatantly on TV. And I need to stop there before foot engages mouth.

My likes Hallmark channel for the Christmas movies, I would just as soon stick a fork in my eye is watch that crap but it was safe, not anymore have movies about gay couples and it's crazy so another one on the don't watch list that's getting larger everyda
