I very seldom watch TV but every now and then

when I am getting a fire going in our fireplace in the living room where the TV is, I will notice strange things. Now I am not a bigot or racist but the commercials and shows feature lesbians or faggots....er uh gay guys. The commercials show mixed race couples more and more. Some TV series are about gay guys raising kids which I really don't like. I am too old and way too set in my ways to get used to that. Before you go to thinking I am a Ku Klux Kookie member, in my younger days when I was in radio a lot of the mixed race stuff was "normal". For a short period of time I dated a black girl whose Dad was a full bird Colonel at Ft. Campbell. She was lighter skinned than Halle Berry and I remember telling my Dad she was Indian as she was about as dark as he was. His Mom was full blood Cherokee. But that went over like a turd in a punch bowl. So I am not against mixed marriages but I am just not used to seeing it so blatantly on TV. And I need to stop there before foot engages mouth.
