Yeah...I'll shoot it!
A while back I bought two (1) pound containers of Winchester Magnum Rifle powder from one of Gary's estate sales. It was a buy, didn't now anything about it, but if it lights I can use it in something.
I had to go back to 1997-99 Winchester data booklets to show a listing. Winchester only had 3-4 powders listed for rifles anyway. It looks like I can use it in my medium cases like 6mm/6AI, and easily in the .338 or other belted Mags. Oddly it only showed the application with the heaviest bullets in .30-06. Go figure. I found the burn rate is close to H4831 and H1000. I guess the little 6mm are small bore in relation to the case diameter. Supposed to be magic in .243.
I can load about 140 rnds. of 6mm to the pound for about 90 belted Mag. rounds. I can load the .338 with .50 BMG powder for cast bullets. That stuff is still around. For the moment anyway. Surplus IMR-7383 was not too bad either in medium small bore cases. But it is not normal powder and must be researched heavily. I did see some .50 BMG primers go for almost $100/100 and they are normally $40/100. But that is a lot of .50 cal shooting for the money!
