Cold Weather Heading for Our Part of Texas

It has been in the 70's here ... we ate supper outside in the yard last night .. it was beautiful. But there is a cold front coming in and the weather prognosticators are saying it is gonna be in the 20's by the weekend with chances of freezing rain and snow.

So I have been cutting and splitting some firewood. Mostly oak. We have a little over 3 cords laid aside now which should see us through. One nice thing is winter weather don't last too awful long here.

Makes me miss Africa! Those years there without a winter was sorta like heaven.
