There is a stuff about bullet hard ness and toughness. for example how hard the lead needs to be for 40,000 cup to function. It goes to 50,000 cup and you need 30+ Brinell plus gas check, lube, fit and powder type.

Finally my thoughts -- if you hit even heat treated lead alloy with a hammer hard enough it will still smush -- hit a monometal and nothing--I use cast in my 9mm, .38, 357, 10 mm .41, .41 GNR .410 GNR and my .500 GNR-- but if I wanted 100 no doubt % to be sure about my bullet on big bad shaggies --monometal is the way it seems
