I saw a 6” blue one at a gun show in the 80’s

For $600. A fair price. It sure looked factory but the guy quickly fessed up it was a custom he had traded into. It also had a factory looking black and red cardboard box. Not the typical wood grain card and styrofoam liner. Even had I bought it I’d have traded it off by now. The Python is for sparing use with heavy .357 loads, it’s a target gun. The mid-range .41 might be ok if the forcing cone threads could handle it. It would be real thin.
