Anyone know the status of Dan Wesson??

Kinda still looking for some of their models....wondering if CV19 killed their production or just what. Specifically the DWX pistol. Introduced in 2020 at SHOT and I can't seem to tell if they have ever been built.

The companies make up a prototype of a new gun and show it at the show. If they get a lot of orders for it then they build it. If not then they quietly drop the whole idea and deny they ever built one. So those guns were concept guns and maybe they didn't get the response they wanted. Quite often the distributors will get a complete list of guns a company either has in production or may have in production, so that gun may be on the list but not in production.

a lot of orders ahead of that particular pistol. And at a price of $1800 many distributors might not want to inventory many of them.

For the halibut I went to 'GalleryofGuns,' and it lists the DWX as a bona-fide firearm... out of stock (of course), but it seems to exist.
