Reeder Custom Guns

I know this is geared more towards handguns but I like this board better than any rifle board that I've looked at! Has anyone ever messed with any Lazzeroni rifles? For some crazy reason I've wanted one for years, just to be different I suppose. I found a deal on a 7.82 Warbird and was wondering if they were really any better than a .300 Weatherby, or if there just over blown and expensive. One plus is they seem to have ammo in stock for them!

by about 100-150fps depending on load/bullet/individual rifle etc. They are accurate and new a couple of guys that had them for long range comp. The brass issues from the past have seem to been addressed so that helps. And they are accurate! You can equal the performance with a Wby 30-378 and components will be easier to get and not as hard on the wallet. Yes, Lazz has ammo, but at 6$+ a round it had better field dress, skin and butcher anything I would shoot with it.

Now all that being said, if you want a Ferrari, GO FOR IT! I was always a little jealous of the guys who shot those exotic rifles. I used to read a lot about accuracy from their website and how to make more accurate rifle ammo.

The one that I'm looking at is on a McMillan action so I think it's an early Lazzeroni rifle, but can't tell for sure. I think McMillan still makes there actions but there marked Lazzeroni now. The ammo seems to be about the same price as a .30-.378 Weatherby but not near as a common. I can get into the rifle for a really good price so I was thinking about it. Have no real need just want!

on toys! At a really good price might be worth it to play with and then if you dont like it, you wont get hurt on it. I personally would only consider it as a reload option as at that price, loaded ammo is too steep.

It looks good in the pics, but yeah the ammo would be the trouble. If and when they get all this reloading component shortage worked out, amazes me people are paying these prices. That's what keeps me from buying a different caliber right now, or a new gun. If you can't get ammo there useless.
