I heard that the new owner of Remington is planning on opening the plant up for production hopefully in March.

Hopefully Quality, not just quantity for money

leftover guns and parts while another person got the trademarks and gun names etc. So they have 2 strikes against them. They have junk guns and parts plus they can't call them Remington's as another person owns that name. He also bought all the gun names like 870, 1100, 700 etc. So even if that owner has a plant full of guns and parts, they are still the same old junk guns that Remington has put off on the consumer for several years. A new owner doesn't make the guns and parts any better than they were with Remington's name on them. It is a lose lose situation.

Seems like poor products are catching up on several...

Manufacturers. Colt and Remington most recently. Very glad that Ruger got Marlin and have high hopes for that acquisition.

Will be interesting to see what CZ does with Colt. Figure mostly autos, but we can hope.

I'd sure like to see a mid length revolver of some sort for the SuperMags. Realize that is unlikely...

I don't understand why CZ hasn't put out the Super Mags

They have all the tooling and know how and the 414 and 445 would sell like the proverbial hotcakes if they would just build them. But it is not as economical as a semi auto as a good man can put together 15 or 20 1911s in a day whereas that same good man could put together maybe 5 revolvers in a day.

I would LOVE to see the Dan Wesson Alaskan reintroduced: Both in the original .445 Super Mag & the .414 Super mag.
I'm not sure they ever did the Alaskan in stainless, but that would be a great option if CZ brings it back.

years ago we used a LOT of the Dan Wesson

Super Mags. I had a good friend named Seth Wesson, old Dan's son. Every time they introduced a new gun we got one or two of them. We hunted a LOT with them, especially the long barreled 445.We also hunted with the 375 Super Mag. Pics of Kase's hunts, mine and 2 of my employees at my shop in Florida. The 2 Fallow in velvet were taken with the first 2 Dan Wesson Super Mags in 375 Super Mag. All of Kase's critters were taken with his cherished 445 Super Mag that has been all over the world with him.

time. Most of them are to rechamber to our 41 GNR#2 as that has much more power and 445 brass that the 41 GNR#2 is based on is much easier to find.
