A good friend is looking for .308 Win rifles. He has found the mossberg patriots in synthetic and wants some 1st hand info on them. Anyone?

some of the $3000 long range guns in the dirt. Colleen bought the first MVP we got in. The Patriot is the same gun just a bit different cosmetically, as is the Predator. Good guns.

A couple years back. I'd been wanting a 338 Win Mag, mostly just because. I found one for $388, so I ordered it.
Very nice Walnut, open sights, extra recoil bolt in stock, helical fluted bolt, etc. The gun with tax and a set of steel scope bases was $421 OTD.
It's now one of my favorite rifles. Can't explain it, but it just fits. The quality is not reflected in the price. Now, I'm looking at one in 6.5 PRC...
Good to know. I may need to pick one up as well!
