A couple years back. I'd been wanting a 338 Win Mag, mostly just because. I found one for $388, so I ordered it.
Very nice Walnut, open sights, extra recoil bolt in stock, helical fluted bolt, etc. The gun with tax and a set of steel scope bases was $421 OTD.
It's now one of my favorite rifles. Can't explain it, but it just fits. The quality is not reflected in the price. Now, I'm looking at one in 6.5 PRC...
