Saw it listed as "in stock" on their site. Makes me curious. Did that last run not fill all the backorders? When I got the email it clearly stated that the first to pay got their orders filled first.

So, if there are that many backorders for the 44-40, what must the backorder count for 9mm and 223 Rem be?

Starline isn't even accepting backorders for many popular calibers.

What does this mean for the shortage duration? Raw material prices such as copper and lead?

Realize any answer is nothing more than a SWAG. Guess my questions are to ponder and not answer...

It came with. The Miroku-Winchester is the best Winchester I've ever dealt with.

Hopefully CZ will do similar with Colt...
