looks like we finally got our airfare to Africa

figured out. Last week my trip was Phoenix to Salt Lake, to Minneapolis, to Amsterdam to Joburg. And chances of my guns making it thru 4 plane changes were slim to nyet. A couple of the guys were slated to go thru Paris, and Lord knows we couldn't let Dave Manson loose in Paris. Anyway all that fell thru. Now it looks a lot simpler. It is Flagstff to Dallas, Dallas to Doha Hamad airport in Qatar (yeah that is somewhere near Saudi Arabia, no raghead jokes). Then Doha Hamad to Joburg, then Joburg to a little hole in the wall town of Upington which is a couple of hours out of camp. John and his boys will pick us up there. The way back is an easy one as we go Upington to Joburg, Joburg to Doha Hamad to Dallas and then to Flagstaff. Several layovers in there but really no big deal. I can sleep anywhere. We have a couple of long layovers but a couple of the guys have a 26 hour layover but they get checked into a hotel and enjoy the Doha Hamad sights.
I think we all separate in Joburg as each of us is heading to a different part of the country. It will be a tiring never ending sort of flight both going and coming back but Africa is worth every minute.
