put a fiber optic front sight on a Super Blackhawk? If so did it make a difference and how did it turn out? I put one on my Toklat and it helps immensely with quit sight acquisition. Considering one for my Super Blackhawk, can't do it myself as I did on the Toklat.

All my Reeder’s have Gary’s ramp fitted

Most with a fiber front sight. It requires silver soldering on the new ramp and a reblue or finish. It’s not cheap but what good is it if you can’t see the sights.

The only way I can shoot open sights is with fiber

especially for those twilight hours when you typically get the shot at game. If full daylight I still prefer the typical black ramp for target shooting. However it easy to loose a black site against a dark bodied elk or moose. So for hunting I stick to the fiber optic option. Have Gary do the change so you can change the front sight easy. I prefer the green, however several with the red that I like also. His option on the SBH makes it easy to swap to whatever, even the gold bead.

We solder on our ramp and then you can choose whichever one you like or you see best.
