Worked an ok deal, didn’t make money but everyone was happy. I probably got $650 in it. Traded the Kahr P40 in on it. I figured it a more fluid investment that the whole family could enjoy, the 8-shot .22. Sort of completes my little SP101 collection. I’m due to re-chamber my .32 H&R to .327, mainly to use the longer brass. I seldom load .327 to full power, it blasts like a .357! I like heavier .32 bullets at 1100-1200 fps.

I noted the 8-shot .22 cylinder is actually the same size as the .357 cylinder. Larger than the 6-shot .32.

Then I started looking at Colts...., he’s got this little original 1849 Pocket .31 5”, cleanest bore I’ve ever seen on a 154 yr. old gun, and tight! So it goes...

327

Do you have the 32 Sledgehammer mould to feed that 327?

I have a dandy I got from a friend 120 gr. FP

and I cut down some LEE 150 gr. to 125 gr. that work well in .300 GNR. I've only shot them in heavy frame .327s. Made them for the .300 GNR. I have a hard to find 113 gr. LEE FPGC that is really good. And I customized a LEE RN into a 100 gr. RNGC for .32 ACP and .30 Mauser etc. It's fast but not much use on game unless you flat tip it. It feeds good in the auto loader though.

I also have a copy that runs 125ish grains that will run a hellin' it out of my 6.5" 32 H&R Single Six

Uber hot .327 is like gettign slapped in the face with

a wet towel. I find blast more distracting than recoil in some instances. Roman was shooting a .22-250 AI "handgun" and remarked "Dad that is just awful". He was developing a flinch from blast, there was no recoil. Ditto a .30-06 14" pistol I once had, I hated it!

Toned down just a little, where it won't burn off your eyebrows, it is great.

Blast

Yeah, my ears no likey, that and snappy recoil is why i prefer heavy for caliber boolits in handguns.
