a few weeks ago i posted about a lee 452-230 having problems with filling the cavities.after tring fluxing my mix, different temps, cleaning the mould and draing my pot and starting with a new batch of alloy was still getting half bullets 40% of the time .tried other moulds and no problems .this morning i decided to swap out sprue plates from a 45 colt mould and problem solved now so the 45 colt one is casting half bullets apperently the sprue plate is defective [image]

? Are the holes in the sprue plate to small?
