Looks like a couple coats of Krylon rattle can. No telling who did it. The boy bought it from an individual, it was black and shiny, $80 and he had his first handgun. Only it didn't shoot when he tried it later. I fixed that. But I did not go much beyond making it mechanically sound. It's a bit of a lost cause for that. Last night I cleaned the lead from the bore and cleaned the chambers well. Very light lubrication where it needs some.
We'll see what the boy says after he tries it out. Hopefully he will be motivated to get him a better one.
