concession comes up for bidding he checks it out and if it is better than the concession he is currently using then he bids on it and if he gets it that opens up a whole new area. Most of the concessions he leases are areas that haven't been hunted in many years so the game is record book.

A few years back we hunted an area called Roiport in the edge of the Kalihari Desert. The first 3 or 4 years we hunted it we were getting a multitude of top 10 in the world animals. Then the last year or so it was obvious the quality of the game was not up to years past. That was when he went to the new area. We hunted that new area the 2 years previous to your hunt. And you need to remember John has new hunters almost every week of the hunting season so it isn't just our 10 or 12 hunters.

This year is a brand new concession that like the others hasn't been hunted in decades. I enjoy hunting new areas. And it gives the folks that have hunted with John and Madubula Safaris something new to look forward to. And some new animals that they have never seen before. We are a bit less than 3 weeks away from leaving and I am really looking forward to this hunt and this brand new area.
