How many state legislatures are introducing bills to do away with hunting and/or trapping?
Not that but a huge increase in license fees.

Here in good ole Massachusetts the fish and game wants to increase license and permit fees almost 100 percent or more. Many are upset that the money would not go to fund wildlife and fish but to the pensions of state employees.
just one more reason to get the hell out of that state

one day (probably soon) you are going to wake up and find you are too old to move out of state and you have wasted your younger years fighting the bullshit laws in that state. None of us are promised tomorrow. And there is never enough reason to live your life totally encumbered with idiotic liberal laws. Move to a state where you can be a free man for what years you have left.
Come on down to Louisiana John

and elsewhere complain to me about the feral hogs destroying their property. I have offered to get 3 or 4 Misfits and drive to their ranch, stay in a motel, shoot a bunch of hogs and donate the meat to charity. In every case they said the same thing "oh no, I don't allow any hunting on my ranch" So screw 'em. I hope a big hog sneaks in and bites him on the ass.

To our 65 Ford Station Wagon, but the kids in the back of the wagon down and a mattress they could lay on and play with their toys and headed for Idaho when. I graduated college in 1965 I took a 35% pay cut from the job I had been working in the factory at night to go into teaching. One year later I took another 20% pay cut to move to Idaho. It was a struggle you can be sure but we have never regretted it. I know all ranks as the number two state the best gun laws.

hunting seasons. More important to me is lower the hunting age so my grandson can hunt.
At some point we'll be hunting the king's deer again..
