I had one of those gold plated .22's years ago. I figured FIE stood for Fine In Emergency. The stupid thing shot very well for such a cheap gun. It shot as well as a friend of mine's heavy barrel Ruger .22 auto. I wished I still had it but I thought I needed to move onto better built guns.
