NUTS ...absolutely nuts. At opening we had standing room

only in here. 11 car loads of people were here when I got here at 9:30. At opening we had a good supply of 9mm, 38 spl, 357, 45, 40, 45 Long Colt, 223/5.56. Within 30 minutes we were out of everything. And that was with a 1 box limit. I had 4 of us behind the counters. I pulled 2 of my guys out of the machine shops to wait on customers. In Phoenix they say the 9mm is $85 a box, sometimes higher, so at $29 ours is a bargain, even at 1 box per customer. People are driving 3 to 4 hours to buy a couple of boxes of ammo. We had several ladies in looking for guns and a couple of them bought them. And those ladies had some uncomplimentary remarks about Biden. We had one showcase about half full of handguns that is now pretty much empty. The big box stores here have empty ammo shelves too and they send folks to us because we HAD a decent supply of most ammo.

The buying frenzy for 22 LR a few years ago was crazy but this is 10 times worse. A few gun shops within driving distance of here are already gone or are close to being out of business due to not having any guns or ammo to sell. They can't survive just selling a can of pepper. spray.

I feel bad going on my African hunt next week and leaving Colleen with no help, but she can pull some of my guys out of the machine shops to help out, so at least that is good.

It is absolutely nuts, and I don't see it getting any better.
